The Medical Technology Association of New Zealand (MTANZ) is the leading industry body representing medical technology manufacturers, importers and distributors of medical devices in New Zealand.
MTANZ aims to increase awareness of the industry in New Zealand and internationally to ensure the healthcare system and patients benefit from innovative medical technology, and to support New Zealand manufacturers in developing markets offshore.
MTANZ represents manufacturers and suppliers of medical technology used in the diagnosis, prevention, treatment and management of disease, disability and dentistry. The organisation was first established in 1979 and has continued to represent the medical technology industry at the highest level with Government, their officials and the healthcare sector.
